Mission News:
Lunch Money Sunday
The first Sunday (unless otherwise posted) will always be lunch money Sunday. This challenge was put out by one of our congregation members, Gordon Trachsel, to help raise money for our missions projects. Since most of our families meet at the local restaurants after church for a meal and fellowship, why not donate the money you would normally spend on the meal towards our missions projects . . . like the Pankovs in Altai or our two Childcare Plus children that we have sponsored. The average family probably spends $30 for that sunday meal. Imagine what that money could do in God's service.
Child Care Plus
Our congregation is supporting the families of these two children in one of our missions projects - Anteneh and Lydia. To find out how to write to them, please contact pastor Jack or Pastor Gordon.
The Pankovs in Altai
Alexey and Tonia Pankov are ministering in The Republic of Altai, which is in southern Siberia, Russia.
The Guskjolens in Panama
The Guskjolens oversee missions in Latin America and Caribbean.
The Powells in Mexico
The Powells have retired and are back in Canada.
